Bonjour Tour Eiffel!

A little jet lagged today… I went to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and walked down Champs-Élysées. Alsooo, I got my graduation present today (hint hint… it’s a purse) – hopefully I’ll include it in my next post!

Alaska & the Yukon!!!

Few days after Asia I went to Alaska (first stop in Juneau, AK) and then the Yukon!!

Beautiful place ~~

The highlight in Juneau was visiting the Mendenhall Glacier via helicopter. I’ve been to the Columbia Icefield (Athabasca Glacier) in Banff, AB so it was interesting to compare the differences between the two.

Ps. Drank the glacier water… it’s really fresh… ha ha..

The highlight in Carcross, Yukon was checking out the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad! The railroad operates from Skagway, Alaska, all the way up north to Whitehorse, Yukon (the capital).

Japan: Tokyo & Kyoto

Towards the end of summer in 2017, my mom and I went to Japan for 2 weeks and visited Tokyo and Kyoto.

Touring the Old Medina

My mom and I booked a day tour via Trip Advisor to visit Marrakesh’s old medina. The first stop was visiting the square and we also got henna!

Second, we visited the Ben Youssef Madrasa, an Islamic college named after named after the Almoravid sultan Ali ibn Yusuf (reigned 1106–1142). It is the largest madrasa in all of Morocco.
